LimiterIQ vs Runna: which fits your HYROX training?

Choose Runna when better running structure is the main job. Choose LimiterIQ when you want one hybrid week built around a diagnosed limiter, station demands, equipment, schedule and race date.

Decision in one minute

Choose Runna if

  • Your running needs the clearest structure.
  • You want 1 km HYROX repeats and running progressions.
  • You are comfortable adding strength around the run plan.

Choose LimiterIQ if

  • You do not know whether running is the main limiter.
  • You need stations and compromised running inside the same week.
  • Equipment and schedule constraints must change the plan.

The material difference

Runna describes its HYROX and functional fitness plans as focusing on the running component, with strength workouts available as additional workouts. LimiterIQ starts with a limiter assessment and writes the full week around that result. That makes Runna the cleaner choice for a known running problem and LimiterIQ the stronger fit when the constraint itself is uncertain or hybrid-specific.

Honest weaknesses

Runna may be a weaker fit if you expect the core plan to prescribe every station exposure. LimiterIQ may be a weaker fit if you mainly want mature running-app polish, deep running heritage or watch-led run execution. LimiterIQ also cannot replace a coach watching technique.
