1. Who can use LimiterIQ
To use LimiterIQ you must be at least 18 years old, in good general health, and capable of understanding and accepting these terms. You're responsible for assessing whether the training is appropriate for your current condition, training history and any pre-existing injuries.
2. Free assessment and training
The limiter assessment is free to take and does not need an account. A verified free account unlocks the complete training product, including adaptive plans, workouts, Academy, Lab and race tools. New accounts are A$0 and need no card or subscription. Assessment results and training guidance are informational and educational, not a medical or physiological diagnosis.
3. Legacy paid subscriptions
LimiterIQ no longer offers new paid subscriptions. Training is now free. This section applies only to subscriptions created before 10 September 2026 and remains here so existing subscribers can understand, manage, cancel or query their legacy subscription.
- No new subscription: new accounts are free and no payment method is requested.
- Legacy recurring charge: A$29 per month, or the price accepted at the original signup, automatically charged to the saved payment method on the same calendar day each month.
- Legacy founding rate: where offered and accepted at the original signup, A$29 remains locked for as long as that legacy subscription remains active without interruption.
- Legacy cancellation: cancel any time via the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Legacy refunds: you can request a refund within 14 days of a successful legacy charge if you have not actively used the product, defined as not completing more than 2 sessions in that billing period. Email hello@limiteriq.com.
4. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law and that cannot be lawfully excluded. If LimiterIQ fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.
5. Fitness disclaimer
LimiterIQ provides training guidance based on your assessment inputs and HYROX performance frameworks. It is not a substitute for:
- Medical advice or diagnosis from a qualified doctor.
- Physiotherapy or injury rehabilitation from a qualified physio.
- Mental health support from a qualified mental health professional.
- Cardiac clearance for high-intensity training.
- Pregnancy or postpartum exercise guidance.
You're responsible for modifying or skipping any session that doesn't suit your current condition. If you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, joint pain that doesn't resolve, or any unusual symptom, stop training and seek medical help.
6. Your account
- Keep your password secret. We won't ever ask for it via email or chat.
- Use a real email address. Critical account emails, including legacy billing or cancellation notices where applicable, go there.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts.
- Tell us immediately if your account is compromised.
7. Acceptable use
When using LimiterIQ, including The Training Lab community, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, dox or abuse other members or staff.
- Post content promoting eating disorders, self-harm, dangerous training, or unsafe substance use.
- Post commercial or affiliate links without prior written permission.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish LimiterIQ content (training plans, articles, drills) elsewhere.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, deobfuscate, extract, or copy any part of the LimiterIQ software or engine (including code served to your browser), or attempt to bypass account or security controls.
- Submit deliberately false data to manipulate the AI plan generator.
- Use LimiterIQ in violation of any law.
Breach of these may result in immediate account suspension or termination. Any legacy refund rights remain subject to these terms and Australian Consumer Law.
8. Community Guidelines
If you participate in The Training Lab community, you also agree to the community guidelines. Those are short and you should read them once.
9. Intellectual property
The LimiterIQ name, logo, assessment methodology, training frameworks, plans, articles, drill descriptions, illustrations, and all software - including the LimiterIQ engine, its algorithms, the plan compilation and validation logic, the load governor, run-cap and safety logic, and the workout library - are owned by us. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use them within the product only. You don't get the right to copy, redistribute, sublicence, or build a competing or derivative product from them.
Some LimiterIQ code necessarily runs in your browser so the product can work. That code remains our proprietary property. Downloading, inspecting, extracting, reverse engineering, decompiling, deobfuscating, or copying it - in whole or in part, by any person or automated means - is not permitted and is a breach of these terms, regardless of the fact that a browser receives it in order to run the product.
Content you post (community posts, comments, reactions, weekly check-ins) remains yours. By posting in the community, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the product. You can delete your content at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LimiterIQ is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific performance outcomes.
- For claims connected to a legacy paid subscription, our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
- We're not liable for injuries that result from you training in a manner inappropriate for your current condition.
- We're not liable for losses caused by third-party services we rely on (Stripe outage, Supabase outage, Anthropic outage).
This clause does not exclude any consumer guarantees that cannot be lawfully excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Account termination
You can close your account any time in Settings or by emailing us. Existing legacy subscribers can separately manage or cancel billing in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of acceptable use, fraud, chargebacks or, for legacy subscriptions, extended non-payment.
12. HYROX trademark
HYROX is a registered trademark of HYROX World GmbH. LimiterIQ is not owned by, endorsed by, partnered with, sponsored by, certified by, approved by, or officially affiliated with HYROX World GmbH. References to HYROX events, formats and stations are descriptive only.
13. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms in any meaningful way, we'll email all active members at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The version date is shown at the top of this page. Continued use after the change date means acceptance.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia. This does not affect any rights you have as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law.
