Welcome to The Training Lab.

This is the LimiterIQ community for paying members. Real names, real numbers, real training. Not a marketing channel, not a forum for general fitness chat, a working space for athletes who care about their limiter and want to train it deliberately.

Read this page once. After that, jump straight to the main community feed.

The 8 rooms

What each room is for.

The Lab has 8 rooms organized by use case. Don't post the same thing in multiple rooms, pick the one that fits and post once.

1 · Weekly focus

Each Monday we post the focus for the week, e.g. "this week is about RPE accuracy, not pace." Members reply with their target for the week. Lightweight accountability.

2 · Workout results

Post sessions you've completed. Times, RPE, what worked, what didn't. Other members chime in with what they noticed when they did similar work.

3 · Weekly check-in

Sunday accountability. Brief summary of your week, sessions hit, sessions skipped, how the body feels, what's next. Helps you see your patterns.

4 · Ask coach

Direct questions to Tyson + verified coaches. Plan adjustments, session interpretation, race-strategy thinking. Aim for one question per post.

5 · Race prep

For members with a race in 4–12 weeks. Tapering, race-day fuelling, pacing strategy, what to pack. Race reports go here too.

6 · Technique help

Form questions, video reviews, station mechanics. Wall ball release point, sled hand position, sandbag carry posture. Members post video, others give cues.

7 · Equipment swaps

Training at a small gym without all HYROX kit? Crowdsourced equipment substitutions, what to use when a sled isn't available, lighter sandbag alternatives, etc.

8 · Wins + PBs

Personal bests, race finishes, breakthrough sessions. Celebrate. Read here when you need motivation. Read it often.

Three small habits

What makes the Lab work.

Communities die when 5% of people post and 95% lurk. Three habits keep this one healthy.

1 · Post your weekly check-in

Once a week, on Sunday. 4-5 lines. What you did, how it felt, what's next. Even when it was a bad week, especially when it was a bad week. The honesty is what builds the community.

2 · React to other posts

Reading without reacting is what kills these. If something resonates, hit Helpful. If you've been there, hit Agree. If someone's struggling, leave a one-line reply. It takes 5 seconds.

3 · Use real numbers

Don't post "had a great session today", post "5×800m at 3:45 pace, RPE 8, recovered fine." Specific is useful. Vague is just feeling-talk. Specific is what other people can learn from.

Your first week

Four small actions.

  1. Day 1, introduce yourself in Weekly Focus. Your first name, your current HYROX time (or "haven't done one yet"), your primary limiter, your goal. Five lines.
  2. Day 3, react to 3 posts. Browse Workout Results or Wins + PBs and hit Helpful / Agree on 3 posts that resonate.
  3. Day 5, post one workout result. Doesn't have to be your best session. Real numbers, RPE, what surprised you.
  4. Day 7, submit your weekly check-in. Five lines. What you did, how it felt, what's next. Locked in as a habit.
Two things this is NOT: not a place for general fitness chat (try a subreddit), and not a place for unverified supplement / medical / injury claims. We have a community guidelines page that covers the boundaries. If something feels off, hit Report, we read every report.
