LimiterIQ FAQ
Straight answers for HYROX athletes checking whether LimiterIQ fits their training, race prep, free-account setup and support needs.
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a fitness race: eight 1km runs, each followed by a functional station: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, row, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. It rewards aerobic strength, repeatable station pacing, and running well on tired legs.
How does the app work?
You take a short assessment. LimiterIQ identifies the system most likely costing you time, then builds training around that limiter across the runs and all eight stations. The Lab gives you a place to ask training questions with context from the product.
How do I install it on my phone?
LimiterIQ installs from your browser, no app store needed. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and tap Add to Home screen or Install.
What does it cost?
LimiterIQ is A$0. The assessment needs no account. Create a free account for adaptive plans, workouts, Academy, Lab and race tools. No card or subscription is required.
Do I need a race booked?
No, but LimiterIQ is most useful when you have a target race, target division, or clear training block. The more specific your context, the more useful the limiter diagnosis becomes.
Is this a generic running plan?
No. The product is built around HYROX constraints: compromised running, sled load, station sequence, wall ball fatigue, BBJ pacing, and weekly check-ins. Running matters, but not as an isolated 5K plan.
Do I need a card or subscription?
No. New accounts are free and need no card or subscription. Existing legacy subscribers can manage or cancel their old subscription in Settings. Contact us about any legacy billing error. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
Is LimiterIQ affiliated with HYROX?
No. LimiterIQ is an independent training and assessment product. HYROX is used descriptively to explain the race format and training context.
